The 27th International Food Exhibition WorldFood Moscow, which is called the largest food business platform in Russia, is being held in Moscow. The organizers say that this is a unique opportunity in presenting products to a wide audience of specialists, finding new partners and customers, as well as getting acquainted with new products on the Russian market. More than 1500 companies from Russia and other countries of the world are taking part in the exhibition.

"The exhibition is developing, it has its own face. We used to come here to see foreign products, to think about how to make all this happen in Russia. Now a lot of products are produced in Russia. It does not mean that Russia is closed to other goods. But like any other country which produces a lot of things, it should also buy a lot," head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert believes.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Agrarian and Food Policy Sergei Lisovsky noted that despite growing political tension in the world, the number of foreign exhibitors is increasing. "We will improve our legislation in terms of improving the work of investors in Russia. Come here, we are ready to provide you with every opportunity to produce food products in Russia and create comfortable conditions for our producers to export our products," Sergey Lisovsky promises.

For the second year in a row Azerbaijan is the partner country here. "Probably, this is natural, because we are neighbors and friends. We believe that it is a unique opportunity to bring together salespeople and marketeers from many countries of the world in our geographical space," Azerbaijani ambassador to Moscow Polad Bulbul oglu is convinced.

65 countries are taking part in the exhibition. The largest expositions this year were presented by China, Italy, South Africa, but Azerbaijan's stand is one of the most notable. It presents fruits and vegetables, confectionery, dried fruit, tea, water, alcoholic beverages. "The stand is very good. You can feel the embodiment of Eastern culture in it, and Azerbaijan has a very rich culture. The country is rapidly developing in the European direction. The stand represents the culture and essence of Azerbaijan," Sam Mousavi, a representative of the Safran Foods company from Ecuador told Vestnik Kavkaza.

"More than 30 Azerbaijani exporters and manufacturers are represented at our stand. The visitors are showing great interest in our stand. We will be glad to support this exhibition, because it gives very good practical results," acting president of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev said.

WorldFood Moscow 2018 is open for visitors at the Expocentre exhibition complex until September 20.
