The ethnic core factor and the cultural cover factor in Kazakhstan

By Vestnik Kavkaza

On October 29, of the last of 2014, the president issued a decree declaring 2015 as the Year of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan. Moreover, it includes 4 themes, something spiritual, within this year. 550 years of the Kazakh Khanate. Secondly, 70 years since the Great Victory. Thirdly, 20 years of constitution. And fourth, the very fact  of 20 years of Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan.

The Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, Anatoly Bashmakov, says that  “it would seem that, in time, chronological, and on political, ideological content all four of these historical events are quite far from each other. Nevertheless, we still arrange them, join  them  in a single historic fabric, which we call patriotic ideology. They form a respectful attitude or sense of patriotism among the younger generation.”

“ You probably remember Brzezinski, who predicted Kazakhstan to be one of the most complex and bleeding areas on the basis of ethnic and civilizational relations. And then the president said, we need such an institution. Miscellaneous said. Let's create a council of elders, but eventually he started and that for any state, multi-ethnic multi-ethnic society, the most important are two factors, which are fundamental. This is a factor of the ethnic core and shell of the cultural factor. And for us, as a methodological factor, whether that urge in this regard, is to understand that culture has no boundaries, but it has its roots. More than 300 missions are included in the Assembly. That means 130 of cultures, nations, nationalities and ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, they are represented in this Assembly,”  Bashmakov said.

He said that Kazakhstan lost kumis in UNESCO: “A few months ago, a German businessman patented it, now in Italy for EXPO-2015 they represent our own mare, as the domestic product of Germany.”

Kazakhstan believes that without value fundamentals society can not exist. There is a system of values, there is a nation, and the loss, the destruction of one of these two components, necessarily will lead to devastating consequences.
