New York Times: "The views of the Central European countries directed to Russia rather than in the United States"

American flagship New York Times today published an article entitled "What does Central Europe really think about Russia?" A decade ago, the United States considered the peoples of Central Europe, as its loyal allies in the fight against Russia, which is why it was decided to introduce these allies to NATO as a bulwark against instability in the Middle East and Russian expansionism. It is now becoming clear that the views of the Central European countries directed  to Russia  rather than in the United States.

For example, the willingness of the President of the Czech Republic to take part in a military parade in Moscow to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory Day, an event that was boycotted by the majority of the Western nations, led to symbolically break of  the pro-Western European unity. Besides the Czech Republic, the governments of several countries in Central Europe use the current crisis in relations between the West and Russia in order to get the economic proposals from Moscow, criticizing the anti-Russian sanctions in exchange for the better gas prices and investments.

Because of the growing number of disputes in the European Union, it is a question of expediency as sanctions and pro-Western policy, which leads to nothing but destabilization in the economic situation in Europe.

Of course, we can talk about the historical ties and geographical proximity of the Central Europe and Russia, but we should not forget those countries that can not be called Central European. The same Spain, for example, where it is growing number of people, who are disgruntled by the  policy of "austerity." Some analysts say Russia's attempts of partnership with the countries of Central Europe in spite of the sanctions imposed special tactics aimed at splitting the European Union. However, the sanctions imposed on itself is not Moscow, and the desire of the EU to find a powerful partner can be explained by disappointment of  membership in the European Community.

Despite the fact that Europe is suffering from anti-Russian sanctions no less than Russia itself, Merkel believes that Cancels entered against Moscow is impossible to measure until Ukraine asks for help from the EU. This was written today   business -magazine Bloomberg Business. German Chancellor believes that sanctions against Russia, which expire in July may be extended, so the spacecraft to perform Minsk Agreement may require more time. Ukraine, the European Union and the United States accuse Moscow of sending troops and weapons to help the Ukrainian separatists in the conflict, but the official Kremlin denies the accusations, pointing to the Kiev government, which does not prevent violence in the state.

The problem is that Europe, which is suffering from sanctions and being threatened with the  energy crisis, had gone too far in their anti-Russian policy, indulging the US interests. However, Moscow is not going to step back, counting the number of economic and strategic partners of the country is growing every day.

Washington Post writes today about the surreal agreement on the Iranian nuclear program. Critics of international negotiations proposed two variants of further relations between the West and Iran. The first is a sophisticated introduction of sanctions, which can lead to the possibility of a better deal, and the second- direct military aggression. However, proponents of both options is not ever possible. None of the options will have any principle effect. With regard to regional and international security, most likely everything will remain in place. The only thing that continues to change, it is the balance of power in the world. While the US is trying to sort out his domestic and foreign policy, and Europe is struggling to maintain balance within the community, Iran and Russia have embarked on convergence, which can lead to significant changes in the global arena.
