The Washington Times: "US is not willing to aggravate relations with Russia"

The Washington Times writes about the escalation of tensions between the Baltic countries and Russia. Representatives of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia are going to ask NATO to deploy ground troops in their countries, in order to "counter the threat from the Russian side." The leaders of NATO are not ready to take such a serious step, for fear of displeasing Moscow by their actions, but they are aware of the request of the Baltic states and are ready to discuss it.

In fact, no one is threatening the countries that were part of the USSR. It is, rather, a strategic alliance of these countries with the United States to oppose Russia. In March, the White House authorized exercises in the Baltic countries, which, although they are not held on a regular basis, Russia raised concerns about, due to their proximity to the Russian border. The recent meeting between the US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian President Vladimir Putin was to serve as a basis for finding common solutions on security in the world in general and in Eastern Europe in particular.

The United States is not willing to go to extremes and aggravate relations with Russia, because the number of major partners in America is becoming smaller every day. Saudi Arabia, for example, a powerful ally in the Middle East, is already beginning to express its dissatisfaction with the US policies aimed at addressing the issue of Iran's nuclear program. And many European Union countries prefer to cooperate with Russia both economically and strategically, bypassing NATO and the United States.

The attempt by the Baltic countries to tighten the confrontation has not brought results, but once again shows that official Moscow is able to take a punch, and its weight on the world stage is big enough to repel the attacks of unfavorably minded states.

The independent US publication ZERO HEDGE published an article in which the view is expressed that the US is already at war with China and Russia. Economic and political experts around the world have come to the conclusion that America has been moving towards a world war for the past three years.

According to analysts, the war is now conducted in cyberspace, rather than using traditional conventional weapons. Adviser to the Government of the United States Scott Borg, director of the US Cyber Consequences Unit, argues that the United States has already begun to launch hostile cyberprojects against Russia, China and Iran.

Meanwhile, the United States and Russia have nuclear weapons, which the countries do not intend to give up, indicating that they are ready to use their nuclear capabilities in case of emergency. There are reports that China has ballistic missiles that can cause significant damage to the United States.

If at least one of the NATO member states gets involved in a conflict with Russia, the agreement will oblige the other countries to join in military action. The only way to prevent this is to realize that in the course of the last world war there were enough victims to mourn, in order to start a war again.
