While the world discusses the legitimacy of the Crimean referendum, the peninsula is building contacts with the NCFD regions. Recently the official delegation of Nazran has returned from the Crimean town of Saki, a well-known therapeutic mud resort, where a bilateral cooperation agreement has been signed. “Our mud is better than the Dead Sea mud, according to its composition and effectiveness,” Sergei Gnatyuk, the secretary of the city administration, said.
The Ingush delegation also met representatives of the Crimean Tatars; in the city mosque they talked to local religious activists. The mayor of Nazran sent them the best wishes from the Mufti of Ingushetia and the Imam of the Central Mosque of Nazran.
The Committee for Industry, Transport, Communication, and Energy of Ingushetia initiated the organization of a road passenger service between Ingushetia and Crimea. One of the private Ingush transport companies is going to be involved into the project. In the nearest future the transport legislation of Crimea will be coordinated with the transport legislation of Russia, including with the order by the Ministry of Transport on organization of regular bus routes between regions of Russia. Following these and other documents, initiators of the project intend to fulfill it before the vacation season.
The head of the republic, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, ordered hem to think about cooperation between Ingushetia and Crimea and Sevastopol, including agreements between social organizations on cooperation and cultural exchange. “We have a wonderful opportunity to send our children to Crimean resorts,” the head of Ingushetia said. The mayor of Nazran paid attention to the N. N. Burdenko Health Resort for Disabled People.
When Crimea merged into Russia, a demonstration of support of the Crimean residents took place in Magas; soon Ingushetia sent major humanitarian aid to Crimea – books, computers, food.
