The Hanukkah reception, organized by RJC, took place at the Igor Butman Jazz Club in Moscow. At the celebration, the first candle was lit, the history of Hanukkah was told, and jazz songs were performed in Yiddish.
A reception in honor of the beginning of Hanukkah was held today in Moscow.
The event was organized by the Russian Jewish Congress and hosted by Igor Butman's Jazz Club.
The first Hanukkah candle was lit at the event. Guests were told about the history of Hanukkah. The concert program also included jazz songs in Yiddish.
