A member of Iran's election headquarters, Mohsen Eslami, announced the registration of three candidates for the presidential elections of the Islamic Republic.
"To date, only three candidates out of the total number of persons who submitted documents for registration have the appropriate characteristics, and their registration has been confirmed",
Mohsen Eslami said.
Registration of candidates has started today. It will last five days. Early presidential elections are scheduled for June 28 due to the death of former President Ebrahim Raisi.
