Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien held a meeting in Yerevan.
It was stressed that Yerevan and Washington will establish a commission on strategic partnership.
According to the U.S. diplomat, cooperation is deeper and stronger than before.
"It is planned to raise the strategic dialogue to the level of a strategic commission, which will enable even deeper cooperation, as evidenced by the representative participation of the accompanying delegation," O'Brien said.
Mirzoyan, in turn, expressed hope the Armenia-U.S. strategic dialogue will be enhanced to the level of a new Strategic Partnership Commission.
