Demonstrations demanding the Prime Minister's resignation continue outside the Armenian Parliament building in Yerevan. The situation is tense, the police are detaining the rally participants.

Several dozen protesters were detained near the building of the National Assembly in Yerevan, where a government hour with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is taking place.

The atmosphere at the place is tense. The protesters demand that the police allow them to approach parliament, but the security forces refuse and threaten to use force.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported 42 protesters who were detained for “refusal to comply with the lawful demands of a police officer.”

Today, the Armenian parliament is heavily guarded. Police forces, Security Services and special forces have been deployed to the building. According to Pashinyan, such measures mean that the police have information about possible provocations.
