The Armenian armed forces opened fire on Azerbaijan's army positions in the direction of Nakhchivan yesterday, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
"On June 12, from 10:05 to 17:50, the Armenian armed forces units using small arms several times subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Havush settlement of Sharur region, Nurgut settlement of Ordubad region, Guney Gishlag settlement of Sahbuz region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," the statement reads.
The ministry noted that Azerbaijan Army Units took retaliatory measures in the mentioned directions.
