New Deputy Health Minister appointed in Georgia

Giorgi Tsagareishvili had been appointed as the new Deputy Health Minister of Georgia, the ministry said.

Tsagareishvili previously worked as the First Deputy Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party and was a member of the Georgia Parliament.

He also served as a member of the committees of Environment, Protection and Natural Resources, Agrarian Issues, Legal Affairs and EU Integration of the legislative body.

The official also held the post of an advisor at the country’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture between 2017 and 2018.
