The Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, Abdurashid Magomedov, revealed the number of participants in the pogroms at Makhachkala Airport who are in custody.
He noted that 140 young people are in custody. Another 1,200 riot participants have been brought to administrative responsibility.

Riots at Makhachkala airport
At the end of October last year, thousands of local residents gathered at Makhachkala Airport, where a plane from Tel Aviv was to land.
The participants carried out pogroms and then broke into the runway after the plane arrived. They were looking for "refugees from Israel".
