According to the chairman of the Electoral Commission of Kazakhstan's polling station №212, located in the Embassy of the Republic in Baku, Nurbek Almasi, 100% turnout was today during the elections to the Majilis (the lower house of Parliament) and the maslikhats (the local authorities) in Kazakhstan.
"At the moment the polling station is closed. We are to begin to count the results. Thanks to the activity of Kazakhstani citizens, registered as consuls at the embassy, as well as tourists from Kazakhstan, the number of voters at the polling station number 212 at the embassy in Baku was 100%,’’ Trend cites him as saying.
