The Turkish law enforcement authorities have prevented the illegal sale of an ancient Bible in the northern Turkish city of Tokat. According to experts, the Bible is estimated to be 1000 years old.
It is reported that the relic was confiscated from three young people who were attempting to sell the Bible, which was written in an ancient local language. Despite the fact that its cover was widely damaged, pictures made of gold leaf were intact, the book had only 51 pages left, Trend reports.
