Draft visa-free agreements with the listed countries are at various stages of development. It is difficult to assess the timing of the abolition of visas - the negotiations on international treaties and their signing always equally depends on the activity of both parties, State Secretary - Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov explained.

The Russian Foreign Ministry will inform the public as soon as the list of visa-free countries for citizens expands, TASS writes.

It is also known that Russia may establish a visa-free regime with Iran as early as 2023. Tehran looks positively at the mutual abolition of visas.

Currently, Russians do not need a visa to travel to more than 70 countries around the world.
