Yesterday, a week after the crash of the ‘Kogalymavia’ plane in Egypt, Russia announced a full suspension of air services with Egypt. At an extraordinary meeting of the NAC, the head of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, said that ‘it is advisable to suspend flights from Russia to Egypt.’ President Vladimir Putin agreed with him and ordered to work out the details of the decision. According to the Federal Tourism Agency, about 45 thousand Russians were on vacation in Egypt yesterday.
