261 PKK militants killed in southeastern Turkey, General Staff reports

During an anti-terrorist operation against PKK militants the Turkish armed forces  have killed 261 terrorists in the south-east of the country, the general staff of the country announced today.

The counter-terrorist operation has affected the three provinces of Şırnak, Diyarbakır and Silopi. Near the town of Cizre in Şırnak province the number of  terrorists killed is the biggest – 179 people. In the province of Diyarbakir 55 militants were eliminated, APA reports
