The deputy head of the State Commission, Eldar Samadov, gave an official data on the losses in Nagorno-Karabakhat at the conference 'The Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from the perspective of the international humanitarian law’ held in Baku . During the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict more than 6 thousand of the Azerbaijani citizens have gone missing, have been captured or become hostages.
Eldar Samadov said that Baku has managed to free from captivity 1435 of its citizens. 3801 are considered missing in Azerbaijan currently.
