90-year-old veteran of World War II Stepan Morgunov was awarded with the ‘For Capture of Berlin’ medal.
The veteran was awarded with the medals ‘For the liberation of Warsaw’ and ‘For the capture of Berlin’ by the commissar of the Karasunskaya district Igor Kutsev and also congratulated by the leader of the veteran organization Boris Semenikhin, employee recruiting office Oleg Kapranov and children from a nearby school. In addition, he was conveyed greetings of the head of the Karasunsky district Nikolay Khropov, UGA reports.
