A queue of potential foreign buyers intend to buy the upgraded IL-76.
The general director of the company-manufacturer Aviastar-SP (Ulyanovsk) Sergey Dementiev said that the new military aircraft Il-76MD-90A (also known as IL-476) can be exported in 2017. Iran, Algeria, South Africa and Kazakhstan have already shown interest.
Earlier it was reported that Russia received 25-30 export requests.
