A person denying Russia’s existence on trial in Stavropol

A resident of Stavropol Nikolai Sobolev became a defendant in a criminal case under the article ”Involvement in extremist activities”, the investigation already sent documents proving his guilt to the Industrial District Court of Stavropol. Sobolev is accused of participation in the USSR sect banned in Russia.

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda-Stavropol, the investigation established that Sobolev found out about the sect that denies Russia’s existence back in 2016. He became a member in  2019, being appointed the "commandant of Stavropol."
