A protest action ‘Do not smoke!’ is to be held today in Tbilisi. The Tobacco Control Alliance is an organizer.
Participants of the event will demand that smoking be banned in public places, including cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as to tighten legislation on tobacco control.
In addition to the alliance, the action will be attended by representatives of the National Centre for Disease Control and NGOs, as well as a group of masters of ancient Georgian Martial Arts ‘Shavparosnebi’, students and other activists, Georgia Online writes.
