Aeroflot will resume flights to the Maldives from May 13, the airline announced on Monday.
The flights will be operated on Airbus A330 aircraft, the company plans to buy out ahead of schedule from lessors.
"Aeroflot resumes regular flights to Male (Maldives) from May 13. Flights to the Maldives will be operated daily on Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft," according to the statement.
Last week, the airline reported that at a meeting on April 25 Aeroflot's Board of Directors was to consider early buyout of eight Airbus A330 aircraft from financial leasing.
