The entry into force of a readmission agreement between Turkey and the European Union may occur much earlier than had originally been agreed. According to the representative of the European Commission, Mina Andreeva, it may take place in early June.
"The agreement on readmission was to enter into force in October 2017, but the date was shifted to June 2016 in parallel with the visa liberalization process,'' RIA Novosti her as saying.
