The Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan failed to decide at its meeting yesterday whom it would nominate as its candidate for Kazakh president, agreeing to make a final decision on this issue at its congress on April 24, the party's press service said.
Representatives of the Turkestan, Mangystau, Almatyregions, Almaty and Nur-Sultan proposed to nominate leader of Ak Zhoparty Azat Peruashev. But he has refrained and suggested to give others the possibility to become a candidate, Interfax reported.
