The electronic music festival ‘KaZantip’ as it was held in recent years, will not return to Crimea, the head of the region, Sergey Aksenov said.
He emphasized that the region is rich in events. “I think that Popovka (a village in the Saksky district of Crimea, the venue of the KaZantip festival) Is worthy, like other settlements of the Republic of Crimea, for international, all-Russian events to be held in them. Crimea is worthy of this,” RIA Novosti quotes the head of Crimea as saying.
KaZantip was one of the largest electronic music festivals in the territory of the former USSR. It has been held in Crimea since the mid-1990s but was later banned due to violations of fire and anti-terrorism standards.
