The Aktobe attackers received instructions from Syria, according to the ongoing investigation.
Preliminary data shows that the perpetrators behind the recent attack in the Kazakh city of Aktobe could receive instructions from Syria, Kazakhstan's Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kassymov said.
"Seemingly from Syria, I think the investigation will give decisive proof," Sputnik cited Kassymov as saying.
"Red level of terror threat has been lifted in Aktobe region and changed for yellow one," he said, adding that a special group is investigating these incidents.
