Elections will allow the civil war in Syria to be stopped, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, stated today.
"Elections are the solution to the situation in Syria, and for that it is necessary to stop providing military and financial support to the opposition," he warned the West, gazeta.ru writes.
We recall that the US intends to send military experts to Syria in order to train the armed opposition.
