The use of English as the language of science is unacceptable, the head of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stressed today at a meeting with the Iranian professors and teachers of the universities and research centers.
"If science is based only on the English language, it would contribute to the formation of its unhealthy exclusivity to the detriment of languages such as Spanish, French, German and Oriental languages", Khamenei said, stressing that "other countries are taking measures to prevent the invasion of the foreign language in its culture and science. "
