Alina Aldambergen has became the new chairperson of the management board of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). She was elected to this position for three years by a decision of the KASE Board of Directors.
Aldambergen has served as the deputy chairperson of the management board at Baiterek Holding, director general of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, deputy chairperson of the Agency of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Surveillance of Financial Market and Financial Institutions, and held executive positions at second-tier banks.
She replaced Esjan Birtanov in this position, Trend reports.
Birtanov was appointed the head of the National Investment Corporation of Kazakhstan’s National Bank.
