Three parties — the ruling Georgian Dream Party, the United National Movement and the Alliance of Patriots — have made it into the Georgian parliament, the country's Central Election Commission (CEC) said, after counting ballots.
"According to published data, the Georgian Dream secures 48.7% of votes (44 seats). The United National Movement scores 27.1% of votes (27 seats). Alliance of Patriots gets 5% of votes (6 seats)," the CEC said.
A repeat vote was needed at those stations after the results of the initial vote on October 8 were nullified due to incidents on the election day.
