A member of the Public Chamber of Kabardino-Balkaria, famous alpinist from Nalchik, Karina Mezova, along with the expedition of the 7 Vershina club climbed the mountain Manaslu (8156 m) in the Himalayas, where she installed the flag of Kabardino-Balkaria, the press service of the Public Chamber of the republic reports.
The ascent was completed in the morning of September 28. The expedition included the leader Sergei Larin, Vladimir Kotlyar, Artem Rostovtsev, Karina Mezova, Alexei Safonov, Vasily Shakhnovsky and six sherpas, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
