French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas noted the importance of holding the upcoming elections in the country in accordance with European standards. He stated this following a meeting with representatives of the Georgian opposition.
Colas emphasized that diplomats from the EU and Western countries are closely following the developments in Georgia.
“We discussed what is necessary for holding free and fair elections scheduled for next year. We emphasized how important it is for the upcoming elections in Georgia to be held in accordance with European standards,” Georgia Online quotes the French ambassador as saying.
