Ankara: Baku-Yerevan peace treaty to have positive impact on development of region

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, spoke at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States, which is being held in Ankara.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan had opened the way to lasting peace in the Caucasus by liberating its territories from occupation. The minister called the meeting between Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as the return of four villages, positive aspects.

Fidan said that the conclusion of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan would have a positive impact not only on the development of the countries, but also on the region as a whole.
