Ankara kills 2222 terrorists in Afrin operation

At least 2222 terrorists have been killed in Operation Olive Branch since it was launched in northwestern Syria's Afrin, the Turkish military said.

Meanwhile, Turkish and Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces liberated another village from the PKK-linked People's Protection Units (YPG) militia and ISIS terrorists.

Since the launch of the operation, the Turkish army and the FSA liberated 116 locations including one of Afrin's five towns, 88 villages, 6 smaller villages, 20 strategic mountains and hills, and one YPG/PKK base, Daily Sabah reported.

Operation Olive Branch was launched by Turkey on January 20 to remove the PKK/PYD/YPG/KCK and ISIS terrorists from Afrin in northwestern Syria.
