Turkey is ready to assist Azerbaijan regarding the earthquake, the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan said.
An earthquake measuring 7 points at the epicenter and up to magnitude 6.5 in residential areas nearby was recorded in the Sheki district of Azerbaijan at 09:49:36 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 13 kilometers.
