Azerbaijan repeatedly proved its brotherhood with Turkey in practice, the deputy chairman for the ruling Turkish Justice and Development Party (AKP), Mahir Unal, told a meeting on Friday with Azerbaijani and foreign journalists.
According to him, on the day of the failed military coup in Turkey, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev clearly voiced his position and expressed support to the people and authorities of Turkey.
"We are grateful to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people for their support," Trend cited Unal as saying.
