NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, James Appathurai, commented on the explosion of Givi Targamadze's car.
"NATO is concerned by acts of violence that have taken place during the election process, most recently the explosion of a candidate's car," he posted on his Facebook page.
Appathurai stressed that the election campaign should be held in a peaceful environment, consistent with the highest democratic principles.
