Arina Averina wins gold at FIG World Cup in Baku

Russian female gymnast Arina Averina won a gold medal in the all-around exercise at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku Apr. 29.

Averina scored a total of 71.250 points in four exercises. Another Russian female gymnast, Aleksandra Soldatova, won a silver medal with a score of 70.800 points, and the third place was shared by Neviana Vladinova from Bulgaria and Alina Gornosko from Belarus with a score of 68.400 points, Trend reports.

The FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is held in Baku on Apr 28-30. 94 gymnasts from 21 countries will participate in it. 37 sportsmen will perform in the individual program, and 57 gymnasts within 10 teams will take part  in group exercises. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets
