Activists of the 'Arise, Armenia!' movement held a rally in the evening of August 11 in Yerevan, demanding the resignation of the Commission on regulation of public services and the nationalization of the Electric Networks of Armenia.
"They (the authorities) stifle the country's energy, have put Electric Networks to the service of their business. Our struggle is not only for them to review the decisions taken, but also for ensuring that they cede power to the people," Interfax cited the coordinator of the movement, David Sanasaryan, as saying.
Dozens of people took part in the opposition rally.
