The all-season tourist-recreational complex Arkhyz in Karachai-Cherkessia was named the best new ski resort in Russia, the press service of JSC Resorts of the North Caucasus reports.
"The resort of a European quality has been created in three years and today, not only tourists, but also experts say stress its high level," the Deputy General Director of JSC Resorts of the North Caucasus, Maxim Guba, said.
At the end of the 2015-2016 ski season, the Arkhyz Resort was attended by more than 130 thousand people.
The ceremony took place in Krasnoyarsk as part of the 12th International Congress of Winter Sports Industry, Tourism and Active Recreation.
