In the near future the cargo carriers of Armenia and Iran plan to send two containers with cargo from Iran to Europe in test mode. This agreement was reached at a meeting of the Minister of Transport and Communications of Armenia, Gagik Beglaryan, during his working visit to Iran at the end of January of this year, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Armenia Artur Arakelyan stated.
After this trial run, Iranian and Armenian business will be aware of conditions under which it will be faster and cheaper to transport cargo from Iran to Europe via Armenia.
"At the moment, our cargo carriers and Iranian ones are in the final organizational stage. Soon these two containers will be transported," Arakelyan stated, NEWS.am reported.
