Rescue work continues due to flooding in Lori province. Evacuation is underway.
"A total of 137 residents have been evacuated from the area of Sanahin station in Alaverdi, another 141 residents are awaiting evacuation",
the administration's press service said.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia took over the organization and conduct of the evacuation of people in the disaster zone. Employees promptly resolved issues of accommodation for victims, providing necessary first aid and coordinating the actions of rescuers. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the team, it was possible to begin the evacuation process.
