Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO was announced by the country's prime minister. He did not give specific dates. In addition, Nikol Pashinyan criticized the organization’s actions.

The Prime Minister of Armenia announced the country's readiness to leave the CSTO. Nikol Pashinyan made this statement addressing the parliament.

“Those who formed the alliance, whose members along with Azerbaijan planned a war against us, are to blame for all this,”

- the head of the Armenian government said.

He also spoke negatively about the former authorities of Armenia, who entered into a “bubble union.”

Responding to the head of state, the opposition deputy suggested that in this case, Pashinyan should make a decision to leave the CSTO.

“We’ll leave, are you trying to scare me with this?”

- Prime Minister asked.

Pashinyan explained that the situation is under control, and the Armenian authorities will decide for themselves when to leave the organization. He called on the opposition not to worry.
