The Armenian Catholic church, which was damaged as a result of clashes in Diyarbakır, will be repaired, the Directorate General of Foundations of Turkey said.
The repair of the church, which was seriously damaged during the clashes between the Kurdish militants and the Turkish soldiers in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, is expected to be completed by 2018, according to Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul.
The house of Christian worship belongs to the Directorate General of Foundations of Turkey, NEWS.am reports.
