Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan held a meeting with the Military Adviser and Chief of the Military Staff to the President of France, General Fabien Mandon on June 19.
The parties discussed the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and France in the defense sector, as well as the respective prospective programs, the Armenian Ministry of Defense's press service reported.
"Also, the defense minister provided an update on the reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces and the level of assistance by France in this context," the statement reads.
In addition, the sides addressed regional and international security issues.
