Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan wants to separate the Federal Tax Service from the Ministry of Finance, but the Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan is not allowing him to do it, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.
"Yesterday, when we asked for a comment from the press secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Nelly Manucharyan, she said that she hasn't got such information," NEWS.am. reports.
However, according to government circles, the head of the government's desire is due to the fact that currently the Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan is a much more powerful person than the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan," the newspaper notes.
