Armenia’s minister of economic development and reforms Suren Karayan gave assurances that his agency will meet the 3.2% economic growth target set by the Government in its 2017 program.
“We will secure minimum the 3.2% growth underlying the state budget,” Tert.am cited Karayan as saying.
He also dismissed economic analysts’ forecasts ruling out chances of any progress this year.
GDP growth is projected at 2.2% in the government budget for 2016 and in the 2017 budget at 3.2%.
