The closing ceremony of the Tour d'Azerbaidjan was held in Baku. The president of the Baku media center Arzu Aliyeva said that it attracts more and more viewers every year, which come to Azerbaijan to receive unforgettable emotions.
"Tour d'Azerbaidjan creates a festive atmosphere in the country. We are very pleased and plan to continue to host the tournament in the future. I think that our guests enjoy Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is a magnificent country with beautiful nature. It is gratifying that every year more and more people see this beauty," Arzu Aliyeva said in an interview with Eurosport.
The President of the Baku Media Center noted that the authorities of the republic pay great attention to the development of sports in the country. Hence the many prestigious international tournaments in Azerbaijan - the First European Games, Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix, the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games and the Baku Marathon, held a week ago.
Arzu Aliyeva stressed the Formula One races, assuring that the level of the organization of the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix is increasingly growing each year. "This year's competitions will be organized even better than last year's. And next year, using the experience of this year, we will hold Formula 1 even better," she said, inviting all the participants and spectators of Tour d'Azerbaidjan to the next cycling tour in the country.
