Syrian President Bashar Assad noted in his congratulatory telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the Victory Day that in respect of Aleppo and all other Syrian cities, "the people and the army will accept only complete repulse of aggression and the victory for the good of Syria, the region and the all over the world".
Recall, the 48-hour-cease-fire started in Aleppo at midnight.
